(ooc: oye-going back in time here--memory...memory)
(OOC2: I know. I am sorry. I promise not to make you dig up too many details!)

His shuddering calmed slightly and he wiped his eyes, "Well I got to the camp and was interviewing injured soldiers when a firefight broke out. Then I got knocked out and I wake up in a cell...then the torture began...and the screams...." the tears poured down his face..."The screams of the others..."
Joanna leaned over and moved a box of tissues closer to David. She was sorry that he was having to go through this, but one of the reasons he was experiencing the horrible nightmares was his mind was trying to to review and sort through the traumatic experiences. By sharing this pain, it would be helpful ... sort of like lancing a boil.
"David, why were you sent to the planet?"
(David?)
Joanna considered what he had to say with a bit of surprise. It was not like Starfleet to get involved in such situations. "What did those who imprisoned you seem to want?"
(David?)
