"Since I don't know too much about your people, perhaps you could tell me a little bit about your history?"

[No.]  He was being arrogant and defiant.  Audra knew that felinids could be proud and stubborn from her past dealings with Caitians.  However, this one took it to an extreme.....

Daphne was not completely surprised about this response.  It was the one that she had expected.  "Are your people native to the area where  you were attacked?"

[No.  We are from another place.]

"Does that mean you are from another system?  Another galaxy? Another dimension?"

The questioning had, by now, caught the attention of the rest of the brig popuation.  At first they were pretty quiet about it, but now they were getting a bit vocal- doing the felinid equilivant to yelling, aka growling and other wise getting rowdy.

Several guards came in, three Klingon and two Caitian.  One of the Klingons stepped up behind Daphne, "Perhaps we should continue later."

The operative nodded.  The discussion had started well, but the felinid quickly moved into a stonewalling mode.  Before heading out of the Brig, Daphne walked up to the shields holding Traknor in.  "Traknor, thank you for talking with me.  I will look forward to talking to you again in the future."

(Traknor?)

Daphne turned and walked out of the area to join the Caitian and Klingons.  She knew that they were going to have comments about what had happened, and she was interested in hearing what they had to say.

(and?)
