(OOC: Apologies on my end, Pete. I was waiting for an opening to jump in, but did not want to interrupt the chat with McTiernan. AJ wants me to pick up playing the Security officers in the hopes of allowing for more character interplay with this.)

Just then the doors to the conference room shushed open to reveal Dr. Hilda >Ingolsdottir. She stepped through the door and made her way over to the table. >"Hello, Admiral. Dr. Ingolsdottir reporting for mission briefing."
"Doctor Ingolsdottir. This is Commander McTiernan and Lt Lorenna Pweretza from the Research Station Kerry on Io. We were just starting to go over some of the facts about our missing Runabout but I think we'd better wait and do the briefing all at once so repetition isn't necessary." He stood, "Doctor, Commander..Lieutenant..would you like a drink?"
Before they could responded, the familiar sound of the door opening sounded once again and three security officers stepped in. The two lower in rank stood near that door, but the woman leading the group walked over to the Admiral. There was a spartaness about her that was not common among humans, but it did seem to be standard for her. "My apologies for our lateness to this briefing. I had to fly in from Mars so that we could be hear. I am Lieutenant Aravis Holt. The two officers with me are Lts Gorm and K'stilk." The Tellaraite and the Andorian both nodded as they were named, but said nothing in response.
