"Ja-Jaime Mathews," she replied with a weak smile as she took the offered hand. She glanced around as if seeing the station for the first time. "Big place," she continued.
"That she is. She is one of the biggest facilities run by Starfleet. It takes a while to get used to being aboard. I have been asked to help you in any way that I can while you are aboard. It can be intimidating on your first real vacation." It was clear that Sam knew what she was aboard for.
The smile grew a little bit more assured. "Thanks. Maybe a little tour and a suggestion of where I might stay during my vacation?"
