Abrams could not help but smile in response.  Jaime was definitely a rookie.  "Travel is not easy work.  If you are ready we can get started on planning your tour.," he replied as he wiped his lips with his napkin.

Jaime's smile faded, and she looked like the food she had formerly enjoyed had settled badly.  "Yeah, sure," she said as she stood and gathered her shopping bags.

Abrams led Jaime to the information kiosk in the hotel's lobby and downloaded the map and information he thouhgt they would need to a PADD.  "If you will lead the way, we can get things started."

Jaime led the way to the lift and--after a short ride--to the door of her assigned room.  The door slid open as she approached.  She stepped inside and looked at her surroundings.

Somehow, even though centuries passed, a hotel hallway still looked like a hotel hallway.  There was something about Earth hotels that always seemed to make things loook forced even if they were comfortable.  They all seemed to have faux furniture that tried to capture. the classy look, but not quite getting it.  They all seemed to have the same striped walls and dark colored carpeting.  They even styled the lifts to have the appearance of older elevators from the twentieth century.  It was not a bad look, just not all that creative.

Abrams looked toward Jaime to see which direction to go in.

(Jaime?)
