A waiter came over and placed menus on the table before the pair.  He was a lad in his early adulthood who might have attracted Jaime's attention had he not been Bajoran.  "Good day, M'am, Sir.  Would you like to order now?"

"One moment," she said stiffly.  She studied the menu and scrolled past dozens of extra-terrestial dishes.  Finally, she made a selection and gave it to the waiter.

Abrams ordered a steak, baked potato and corn before handing his menu to the waiter.  Once the waiter walked away, he looked over Jaime.  He was surprised at how young she looked.  She could have been a college student.  He did not know any details about her, but he did need to make it appear that they were at least family friends to allow it to make sense that he was playing the part of host while she was visiting the station.  "How are things with your brother?"

"James is great.  He's so busy these days, though."

(OOC: Unless you have objections, I'm going to move this along.)

It was only moments before the waiter returned with their meals.  He set a large shallow bowl of fettuccini with blackened chicken before Jamie and a basket of hot rolls between her and Sam.  With little ceremony, she dug into the meal with a real relish.  It must have been amazing to see someone her size consume such a large meal.

When she was done, she sat back and smiled sheepishly.  "My goodness, I guess I was really hungry."
