The deck was a busy one, which was not surprisrising considering that it was one of the floors dedicated to the Promenade. Not far in front of her was the family whose little one had made such a fuss on the shuttle.
The hotel was nicely furnished, though it was a typical hotel, with all the pseudo-finery meant to give the place a feeling of elegent comfort, but at a reasonable price. It was a busy hotel, catering to all sorts of travellers. The main desk was busy, but the line kept moving.
When Jaime reached the desk clerk, she said, "I'd like a room for a week." She gave a sheepish smile and continued quickly. "I don't have a reservation."
