The woman looked up at the sound of Jaime's voice when she stepped to the counter.  The woman was human, and was somewhere in her fifties.  She had "helmet" hair, which seemed to be the style of newscasters for centuries.  She smiled.  "That should not be a problem, dear.  Fortunately, the Apollo Moon Program Convention is over so we have a number of open rooms.  Can I have your name please?" she asked as she started getting into the system.

Jaime hesitated.  Should she give a false name?  Then she said, "Mathews.  Jaime Mathews."

"Are you sure you hadn't made arrangements with us or maybe had a family member do it, dear?" she asked.  "I am showing a reservation for you right here.  I am just going to need you to sign here and everything is taken care of."  The woman extended a PADD with a writing quill for Jaime to use to sign her name.

Jaime's relieved smile said it all.  "I guess my brother took care of it for me," she said as she took the padd and stylus and signed her name.

The woman smiled in response.  "It is so nice to hear about families helping each other out."  She took the PADD and stylus back and handed over a key card.  You are going to be in room 267, dear.  If you need any help, just buzz down here to the main desk."

(Jaime?)
