Jaime's relieved smile said it all.  "I guess my brother took care of it for me," she said as she took the padd and stylus and signed her name.

The woman smiled in response.  "It is so nice to hear about families helping each other out."  She took the PADD and stylus back and handed over a key card.  You are going to be in room 267, dear.  If you need any help, just buzz down here to the main desk."

Jaime accepted the key and said, "Thank you."

Instead of going to the room, Jaime decided to do her shopping first.  Or at least what she could with less than an hour.

She found a ladies boutique on the same concourse as the hotel entrance.  Most of its contents, however, came from other worlds.  While this was not surprising, it made for a frustrating shopping experience.

She finally found enough human-made clothing for a couple of changes and quickly made her purchases.

"Damn," she muttered as she glanced at her timepiece.  "I'm late."

She hurried back to the hotel and sought out the restaurant where she was supposed to meet Samuel.
