"Not really, sir. I spent two weeks of my field medical training here. I
didn't think I'd ever see water again." Lucas dutifully wheeled him to the
correct terminal. Presently, after all the immigration and customs, they
were taken on a short shuttle ride to the Earth-based cruise liner Aubrey,
which was docked in low orbit.
"Your office handled the booking for us," Lucas explained. They were not
exactly travelling incognito, after all. Somewhere on this cruise line
there were undoubtedly several inconspicuous Starfleet security personell
tailing them. The booking turned out to be a very nice - one would almost
say luxurious - suite with two separate bedrooms and a pleasant sitting room
in between. Full amenities, of course, with a view of the beach and
greenbelt that made up the interior of the ship. "I requested the inside
cabin," Lucas admitted, "I get kind of sick of seeing stars, and it seemed
having a sunset every evening would be nice, even if it is a holo-image."
"I think that will do just fine.", Garibaldi siad just taking in the sights. When
they were settling in to their cabin, Garibaldi changed the conversation....
"Lucas, how have things been at the lab since word got out that Admiral Lasiter's son
was killed by Venasian soldiers? I understand that there was some unrest?"
