"I think she knows, Admiral," Lucas replied, "Which might be why she's so calm about it. But you're right; I wouldn't want to be around her when the kidnapper shows himself. It's lucky for all of us that she's not a telekineti like Selara D'amondra. Speaking of which, where is she lately? Is she still on the run from the law?"

"Somehow, I don't thnk so. I think she is just where she want to be, law or not. You know, I wouldn't admit it to just anyone. But I really like both of them. Serana and Selara... ", Garibaldi said with a wicked smile.

"I wouldn't let Serana hear you say that, sir," Lucas grinned, "There's a lot of bad blood between those two. One of these days it's going to come to a showdown, and only one will walk away from the ring. I'm not that fond of Selara myself - I did almost get killed once because of her - but you have to give her credit. She's built quite an empire for herself, even if we're on the other side of the line."

He rose to check on Garibaldi's vitals. When he was done, he said, "Well, sir, are you going to explore the ship a bit, or are you going to rest up a bit here?"
