Valtris was surprised to hear that comment. It was a pleasant surprise, but
she still did not let that emotion be seen on her face. "I believe that
could resolve the situation in a manner in which many on the Council will be
more than happy ... though, Melora Damesh would probably not count among
those," she replied with a devilish grin.
Ael's smile became more sinister. "I have many duties," she said, "and many aspirations. But pleasing Melora Damesh appears on neither list."
