if any signifigance they may have?]
Report Addendum: The power supply was missing from Kagan's commbadge as was a
conponent from it's transceiver. The missing transceiver component made it impossible
to transmit. The parts of the transceiver that allowed it to receive transmissions
were damaged, and presumably left behind for that reason. With the damage to the
receiver and the missing transmitter piece and power supply the commbadge was
worthless.
