"Well, personally, they are quite good since I work and live on a Starfleet installation in orbit around the Federation's capital world," he said with a bit of a chuckle.
Jaime just frowned like she either didn't get the joke or didn't find it funny.
"My apologies. I was trying to provide a little humor. Overall, Bajor's ties with the Federation are fairly strong. Like those between most allies, there are some difference, but for the most part, we get along."
"I see," she said. "Is there any information available that's more specific? Or," she paused thoughtfully, "Perhaps someone here who give me additional information?"
