The Bajoran art historian led her into the center of the hallway. "As you can see our faith has always played a role in our art, whether it is painting, sculpture or one of the various other forms. Most of the pieces will have the familiar oval form. These can be found in not only our art, but also in our architectural and fashion design."
Jaime studied the pieces carefully, then she took out her padd and made several notes.
"History has also placed a major role. If you look at this piece right here," he said as he brought her over to a sculpture. While it was clearly Bajoran, the lines were not as smooth or soft as many of the others. It looked almost uncompleted or damaged in some way. "This was created by Holais Nel. She was one of the great artists on Bajor during the Cardassian Occupation. Her pieces often reflected the pain of our people."
"Did she survive the occupation?"(reply)
