"She is an amazing woman....", Garibaldi mused. He was also sadened at impending loss of Theran. While he did not know the Venasian well, his first impression was that he was a basically good, decent being who was trying to do the best for his people. It was most troubling that it would lead to his demise. Even more so with the knowledge that it was coming, and soon.


"How do we keep in touch, Thomas?"

"Through Dr. Ryan. Due to your position, it would be best if to keep the connection between you and our organization as untraceable as possible. Should our infiltration of Starfleet be traced, however, Dr. Ryan is an expendable position."


Lucas appeared unaffected by Thomas's casual dismissal of his life. "I'll try to keep you updated as much as possible, sir," he told Garibaldi.

Soon they had gone through the maze of corridors and were back at the landing site. Once they were on their way, Thomas asked, "Is there anything else you'd like to know before we drop you at the beach, Admiral?"
