"It is an honor, sir," the priest said to him, offering his hand.
Lasiter smiled with the joke, and took the extended hand of the priest, giving
it a firm shake. "The honor is mine, sir. The Good Doctor here and I have
become fast friends in our short time serving together. Meeting one of his long
time friends is quite a pleasure. I'm sure that after the ceremony, and a
relaxing drink, you can properly embarass him with a story to two." Again with
the smiles...

"I cannot tell you," the priest told him, "how much I look forward to the opportunity." He turned to Matt. "You look well, old friend." He stepped forward and embraced the old Irishman tightly.
"As do you, Father."
"I would assume you need to unburden your soul, my son," he said, a great deal of teasing in the _expression_.
"I'm afraid so, Father."
The Priest looked back to Samuel. "If you could give us just a moment. Well, this being Matt, we may need a couple of hours."
"Five minutes will do," Matt told him, with a voice just short of a growl.

Five minutes later, well, closer to six, actually, the door of the room opened again and Matthew and Father O'Malley both stepped back out.
"I assume someone will come for us when the time is right?" Father O'Malley said.
"Let' head down to the Veranda," Matt suggested, "so you can set out your props."
They headed toward the Veranda.
