The debriefing was over and David went back to check messages and clean up
a

Going to the entryway he was met by the Admiral's >gate-keeper, "Captain David Boulay appearing as ordered for Admiral >Jackson." >Emma knew Captain Boulay since they had worked in the same office for
some time together. "You can go >right in, sir. He is waiting for
you."
"Thank you...and it's good to see you Emma." He smiled as he walked in-he
stood at attention, "Captain Boulay reporting as ordered, Admiral."
Jared had been looking over some files related to Boulay's mission to
reacquaint himself with the situation before the interview. He glanced up
at the sound of his voice. As usual, he had left his office door open, and
Boulay must have come in while he didn't notice.
The Admiral placed the PADD he was working with down on his desk. "At
ease, Captain. Please take a seat and relax. Could I get you
something to eat or drink?" Jared realized that it was lunch time.
It was clear that Jared was not the usual Admiral.

"I asked you to see me because I have been assigned to look into your
recent mission. I am a bit concerned by some of the events that had
happened while you were on assignment in the sector commanded by Admiral
VanDerLoo. I understand that you suffered some injuries while you were
there, and the circumstances are ... suspicious."
