Jared did not have to ask for the specifics of 'the Box.'  He had a pretty good idea of what it was, and it was a form of torture.  If VanDerLoo was responsible, he was going to make sure that the other Admiral went down.  "What can you tell me about the guards on the planetside?  Do you think they were working for Starfleet or planetary security forces?"
