T'Kresh stepped toward the Gul. "Thank you for making these arrangements on such short notice. We all appreciate it." She glanced around the room and wondered where Golan Dulath was. "Is the former ambassador going to be joining us?"

"Of course. He will be joining us shortly. I wanted to give you all time to settle in before we got down to business so I scheduled his arrival for a little after yours. I believe that he will be quite pleased to see all of you. He has fond memories of his times on Spacedock."

Valtris could not understand why Golan would not have already been here. There was no reason to make the Council representatives wait for his arrival. She could not help but wonder whether the Cardassians were going to follow through on their agreement to have him at the reception. She was not going to start a fight by making accusations until their was a clear reason to do so. "It will be a pleasure to see him again as well. Did you have anything planned for us before his arrival?"

"I thought that we could go over his medical reports and answer some introductory questions," replied the Gul. "It would give you a chance to focus on that before speaking directly with the Professor."

"Perhaps we should get things started so we are finished when the Professor arrives," suggested the Klingon representative who looked at her fellow diplomats to see if they agreed.
