"Gul we have brought along a physician with us because, as the other Ambassadors can attest to, we are not medically trained and want to make sure our comprehension of any medical conditions are clearly understood."

Jarrit Legrath glanced over the newly arrived group. He knew just about everyone either by looking over dossiers prepared about the various Council members or from his introduction to Captain Annan upon his ship's arrival. The only person left who could be the doctor was the Trill. He dipped his head to the woman. "I can understand your concerns. Let me bring in Doctor Serat in so she might be able to brief you on the Professor's most recent physical." The Gul walked over to the twin doors to the reception room and pulled them open manually.

A Cardassian woman stepped into the room. She was wearing a pale blue dress that had overlapping underlayers of salmon and purple that somehow seemed to highlight the light blue of her eyes. Her long ebon hair was pulled back in a traditional Cardassian hair-style that let it fan out along the side and back making it seem like she had shoulder length here. She made her way over to the group with the Gul following. "Greetings, honored diplomats. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me."

Watson nodded as he sat at the table.

"I would like to start by saying that Professor Dulath is in very good condition. In fact, he is in better condition than when he first returned from his assignment on Space Station McKinley," she said as she brought up her bronze colored PADD.

Watson raised an eyebrow in concern "I don't understand."

"Pardon me, folks. I did not mean to indicated that he had received any bad treatment as he was serving in a role as your peer. In fact, I suspect just the opposite to be the case," she said with a polite and surprisingly friendly smile. "When the Professor first returned to Cardassia Prime, he was actually overweight and was suffering from a condition somewhat similar to a condition humans refer to as gout as well as fatty liver disease. I believe he was suffering from "living the high life?"

Watson didn't respond.

Valtris had to admit that she was not surprised to hear the doctor's evaluation of Golan Dulath's health at the time of his departure. Dulath always tried to live life to its fullest, and these findings proved that he did a good job with it.

"Since returning, he seems to have been able to focus on living healthier. He has lost some weight, which has allowed his system to recover. Most of his numbers fall within the normal range or are on their way there."

Watson peered at the doctor they brought with them for a response.

Valtris could not help but wonder whether Dulath had lost weight becuase he was counting calories or for other less healthful reasons. She glanced toward Dr. Nov to see if she had an opinion about the situation.

(response?)
