Bedru remained silent while their food and drinks were served, taking
advantage
of the moment to gather herself. This mission had come as a complete surprise
that she was unprepared to handle. Once they were alone again, she took a sip
of her tea, but left the food untouched. Her appetite had fled along with her
composure.
Finally, she asked, "How much do you know about my abduction?"
"Very little actually. I know that you were abducted, and that you had a
difficult time when you returned home. Not much else."
