when your life might depend upon me?" Clearly her voice suggested that he
should not.
Matthew knew that she was stronger than she thought she was. The fact that she
returned to uniformed duty was evidence of that inner strength. She just
needed to feel it...
"I trust that you will do what you are able and that you will do what is right.
Don't make this decision because of me. You must do what is right for you. "
He gave her an out if she wanted, or needed it. This was not a mission to
force on her. At least he didn't think it should be forced on her.
