Daphne shook her head.  "I am currently in housing in San Francisco.
My office in Special Operations is there."  The eldest child turned her
attention to her younger sister.

"I guess you could say that I am temporarily," replied Ariel.  "The
Centurian is docked at the station, but I am still in my quarters on
the ship."

"I am going to have to decide whether to get quarters on the station or
here on Earth.  Since I am not sure of the specifics of the research,
though, I will have to wait and see where I will be working."

Ben's mother leaned over and tapped his hand.  "You could always move back in with ton pere et moi."  An evil smile formed over her face.  She knew that it was not an option he would choose, but it was one that was open if he was interested in it.

Lucien's smile brightened.  "Of course, Gabriel.  You would be welcome for as long as you need."

"Somehow, I think you just want to have me around so you can keep an eye on me.  I think you need to be worried about the rest of the clan.  I am just a scientist.  The rest of your children are in Security, Special Ops, and Intelligence."

His maman eyeed Gabe.  "I did not realize that it was a crime for a mother to want her children close enough to see them.  I understand that you all have careers that keep you far away, but since you are so close now...."

Ariel smiled.  It was going to be tough for Gabe to get out of this one.  "Now, you've done it little brother.  You are gonna make her cry."

"Oh, Maman," said Daphne as she rested a hand on her mother's shoulder, playing up the scene.  "I am sure that he will make time to visit even if he isn't willing to live with you and Papa."

(Gabe?)
