"It is tradition in these instances that my client gain something from talking.  I have heard nothing that would make me encourage him to talk to you.  Doing so would only endanger him."

Geb glanced toward Lt. Holt.  He would let her take this one since she had already addressed the issue at the beginning of the meeting.

Aravis leaned forward and stared at the lawyer and his client for a moment as she considered the words she was gong to say.  "I would assume that Mr. Leaver's friends are going to assume that he is going to be talking to us.  In fact, they have made an attempt on the safety of almost every prisoner we have taken in at this point.  I would say that he might want to consider a penal colony as a safe haven at this point.  Talking would be in his best interest."

Greene did not like this This was not the way the game was supposed to be played. There was really no other option. He glanced toward his client and nodded his head. This was the best that they were going to do.

Adam was aggrevated. The lawyer was there to get him off of this thing. It was clear that was not going to happen. "What if it was the Brotherhood?"

"Considering your concern for your safety, and how that suddenly became an issue once we brought that organization up, I think we are pretty sure that it was them. Your confirmation would be helpful ... as would any information you would be willing to share about them." Aravis crossed hands in front of her and looked back and forth between Greene and Leaver as she spoke.
