I can reproduce this by simply install a new package on a system (using osa). The package will be install promptly, the GUI shows the events, but the package state of the system in the GUI is delayed by up to 10 minutes. It seams that the information for the GUI is only updated every 10 minutes, so at 00, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 minutes. Taskomatic seams to run correctly. On Spacewalk 2.2 the GUI showed the current state almost immediately. On Satellite 5.7 it is also showed almost immediately.
