No, you'll want something more like: header SUBJ_CANSPAM_SE Subject =~ /sexually[\- ]explicit/i since you'll want to catch it with a space, or even: header SUBJ_CANSPAM_SE Subject =~ /sexually.?explicit/i if you want to catch *any* separator (or lack thereof).
