I guess it was only a matter of time that spammers started using SnipURL http://snipurl.com/ and the likes of it.
Tip for lurkers: When emailing long URL's, just put the whole URL between angle brackets. Good email clients will recognize these as multi-line delimiters and ignore any line breaks in the URL. For example:
<http://www.google.com/search?as_q=snipurl&num=100&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=lang_en&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=m3&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&as_occt=title&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&safe=off>
Question: Which mail clients capable of spawning a browser *fail* to parse this URL and only see the first line?
