I'm also suspicious of people who use the phrase "double opt 
in", but I don't see why it has anything to do with whether 
it's necessary to adjust language to avoid triggering SA rules. 
Plenty of senders of legitimate newsletters use SA for such 
testing (and of course lots of spammers do too).  The fact that 
someone has gone through a confirmed signup process to get onto 
a list won't do anything to keep SA from identifying the 
messages as spam.
