For years I've relied on Spanning Sync and have really liked the ability to
sync calendars. However, I also am an iPhone user and would not be able to
give up my MobileMe calendar sync functionality. With the May 5 deadline
around the corner and no response from Spanning Sync, whose hands seem to be
tied on this one, I've just gone ahead and figured out how to not rely on
Google Calendars. And, 24 hours later, it's not bad. I'm syncing with
MobileMe, my iCal is working on my multiple Macs, my iPhone and iPad are all
working. Goodbye Google Calendars, Goodbye Spanning Sync. I've loved you,
but it's time to move on.
