For those currently running into this problem, we've heard that there's a workaround, provided that you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch):
1. Connect the iOS device to your Mac 2. Open iTunes and select the device in the sidebar 3. Select the Info tab 4. Turn on calendar syncing and sync at least one calendar. (Create a "dummy" calendar if you don't want to sync any of your real calendars.) 5. Sync the iOS device with iTunes Now iCal should be able to sync with Spanning Sync again. Obviously this isn't an option for everyone, but for those of you with an iPhone looking for a solution NOW, it might get you back up and running. -- Larry Hendricks [email protected] http://spanningsync.com http://spanningtools.com On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 8:19:14 AM UTC-7, cwood wrote: > > To our great disappointment, the Mac OS X 10.7.4 update introduced a > severe bug in iCal that prevents Spanning Sync from functioning correctly. > This bug also affects other sync apps including > BusySync<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/busymac/bizHwZ0fMXs> > and Blackberry > Sync<https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3958312?start=0&tstart=0>. > It's unclear whether Apple intends to fix this bug. > > Larry, Byron, and I don't want anyone paying for something that doesn't > work, so we've decided to take the drastic step of temporarily suspending > Spanning Sync sales.
