Hi Kris, Are you able to contact your Thermo sales representative and get any advice from their side? Perl 5.8.6 is an out-of-date version of perl.
Regarding webservers, why not use the TPP with the Apache webserver (which it can install and configure) for you? You can then edit the Apache config (from the start menu) and choose another port to listen on (remember to configure your firewall appropriately for the other port.) Regarding installing TPP on a drive other than C:, there have been somes posts on the newsgroup about this topic. I would search for the most recent topics.
