Hi Bill, We don't officially support Fedora, but if you can wait just a bit, the upcoming 4.3.0 release will be tested and contain notes for building under Centos, which is also a RedHat-related distribution.
Although we don't provide an AMI (image) yet, 4.3.0 will also contain improved scripts for getting started with Amazon's EC2 cloud cluster.
