1 - Over the MS2 intensities of the b and y ions that contribute to a 
peptide identification. This returns *i*
2 - Over all the *i* available for the same peptide, defined as a unique 
combination of sequence, modification and charge. This returns I_sc (for 
all spectral counts)
3 - Over all the I_sc that are inferred to belong to the same protein. This 
returns the SI.

I was a bit confused cause there are 3 sums but the equation only shows 2. 
But now I see.
