Is $SPECROOT/bin/addSpecUser a CA-issued script or a custom script? I just
checked our Spectrum installation and I don't see this script/binary in the
Spectrum installation at all....

Hi,

I think you should better use $SPECROOT/bin/addSpecUser, cause I am not sure
that you will be able to set/define the password using the CLI.
If you have a chance to try please let us know.

Best regards,
Gregory

You can do it with the vnmsh scripting language. You'll have to figure out all
the Left-Side/Right-Side relations for a useraccount, but it is possible to add
users via CLI using this method.

Basically you make a shell script that takes arguments (such as username and
password) and runs it through the scripting interface to completely create the
user model.

Hi,

Is it possible to add users to Spectrum (MLS) from the commandline (or via
modellinggateway)?

Regards,
Frank
