I have used this script on Spectrum versions 8.0 and 8.1, and I guess it will still be here on 9.0...

What version of Spectrum are you running? You can do it with the vnmsh scripting language. You'll have to figure out all the Left-Side/Right-Side relations for a useraccount, but it is possible to add users via CLI using this method.
