Bonjour, Je viens d'installer mon modem USB SpeedTouch en suivant a la lettre les instructions des pages suivantes:

L'installation des pilotes de sourceforge et les modprobe se sont d�roul�s correctement. Notez que je n'ai pas eut a recompiler le noyau, j'ai directement inclus les options usb etc (ohci, ...) � l'installation de la debian. J'ai charg� le microcode: modem_run -m -f /usr/local/bin/mgmt.o La il attend pas mal de temps (30s-1min) avant de rendre la main, mais sans message d'erreur, m�me pas le "usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed" sens� �tre normal. La seconde lampe verte du modem clignote puis s'immobilise. Puis le "pppd call adsl" (qui ne renvoit rien). Jusque la tout semble s'�tre bien pass�, mais lorsque je lance "ifconfig ppp0" il me donne: ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol POINTOPOINT NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:3 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) Notez qu'aucune IP n'appara�t avant POINTOPOINT. Et un ping quelconque sur une IP me donne: ping: sendto: Network is unreachable ....
