hi andy,

(a lot of andrej's, andy's and andre's here ...)

her is what i have:
- 2 pc's
- - one win2000 & suse 9.2
- - one winXPsp2

they are interconected by a LAN cable, but that shouldn't harm.

as the double OS box is an old p3 with USB1.0, yes, i do full reboots
between. is that what you mean by "boot straight to win". what other
method would i have for?

the concerned box is up under linux now, but the win drivers on the
thomson cd are all signed with a 301.0.0.12 version. as the drivers ever
came from this cdrom, i guess the installed driver version will be that one.

both pc's should be able to use the speedtouch 330 (silver). that
initially worked for win2000 and winXP. now it works for linux on the
first box only and still under winXP. switching from linux to winXP (by
un- and re-pluging) works perfectly in both directions (the XP box
without reboot).

the install under win2000 works as ever (not asking for reboot though)
but when dialing in, it says no modem found. the diagnostics tool only
tells me the basic region settings.
