There is a small vent hole in the fuel pump casting, near the bottom. It connects the crankcase to the outside air. On my car, I have proper negative crankcase pressure, and I can put my finger over the hole and feel a bit of suction. If you have positive crankcase pressure, I am sure oil would come out of the hole. If your PVC system is working, your problem should go away.
