When I had MGs, I always lusted after an MGC. About 6 years ago I missed out on one 
when a friend sold his very sound MGCGT for 1000 pounds! It was a good one too, though 
it had the auto box. A lovely car in a straight line, but an absolute beast when it 
came to corners - that never stopped me wanting one though,
