Does the parking brake cable mechanism actuate BOTH rear brake shoes (within each drum) or only ONE of the shoes (in each drum)?
If it activates only one shoe, is it the leading shoe or the trailing shoe? (Leading shoe generates more braking force, right?) And the leading shoe is the one closer to the front of the car? I've heard it's called the "leading shoe" because its leading edge is pushed by the brake cylinder (the other shoe's trailing edge is pushed by the brake cylinder) - is that correct?
