Tony is correct. I put the ohmeter on my exposed wire bundle and the
passenger side switch goes to the seats. I got rid of that switch and
with some adjustments the odd looking cam engages the OD switch
smoothly, no flex , no drag.

I think the second switch was for the infamous seatbelt interlock circuit
used on the early Mark IV's.
