It is possible, but not likely that the sub frame is loose (are you referring to the bracket that the motor mount bolts to?).  When inspecting a motor mount you should look for torn rubber (HEHE, better go to the doctor if this happens) inside the mount or the rubber will be completely gone (not good).  My lower motor mount was completely shredded.   Tom        I do have the symptoms of worn-out motor mounts.  But I don't know which one =(  I have check everyone of them. top, transmission, and behind the wheel.  I really don't know what I am looking for.  My dogbones look like they are metal, and rubber surround the bolts.... which part would be broken or cracked?  Is it possible that the sub-frame or that bracket that is attached to the motor could be loose??
