Good point. I have a Nikon LS-20 scanner, and as Dave has found out, sometimes
the color just does'nt come out the way you want it to. In this instance, I
could'nt get the yellow in the scan to match the yellow in the slide. After a
lot of messing around in Photoshop trying to correct color that just was'nt
there to begin with, I finally threw in the towel and went with what you see
now.

I noticed that too. Speaking of bridge shots, I would have liked the UP6936
shot better if more of the bridge were shown. Perhaps this was a situation for
a wide-angle. I also felt the same way about Dave's shot of the MRS switchers.

I am also curious why Dave did'nt frame his down-on SOO Line shot so that more
of the train and some sky were in the photo.

I loved the Gary Zuters shot of the snow-encrusted CP RS18's. How many of us
would have taken the coming shot and missed this angle because we were in the
car waiting for the train to pass so that we could roar off to the next shot.

As for Jan Lindahl's stuff, I think that we are very fortunate to have him (and
Urban) on our subsriber list to give us some real diversity. I too liked the
shot of the electrics on the ore train.
