I just knew someone would take the bait!

But John, my point was, why buy that "other" film, just to get the clear
canisters, if I can talk my local photo shop out of 20 or so from their
recycle bin.     *GRIN*

Dunno about in the states, but up here in the Great White North, most
camera stores recycle canisters back to the manufacturers, the shop I go
to usally has a fairly large box of them behind the counter.
