Dave Cohen said, "We all know how to light for flat copy work, right?" :) I assume that you mean with big polarizing filters over the two light sources, and a smaller third polarizer over the lens? This works especially well when copying glossy b&w prints, regardless of carefully aiming the copystand lights, using black reflectors to cover the camera body, copy stand, etc. By using polarizing filters over the lens AND the lights you really remove the reflections. I never thought there would be that much deifference between the two lighting set-ups, but, boy, was I wrong! The difference was like night and day. John B.
