Haven't done any for quite a while but in the old days doing deluge system on outdoor equipment like pumps, transformers, heaters etc... We used structural shapes like small I Beams with plate on the bottom and a concrete pier or if a slab available we anchored the plate to the slab. I believe the beams we used were called 10S but I might be wrong. There is no prescriptive code you just have to do what works.
