Agreed something happened. THE incident however is suspect IMHO. And you
are right out of court and him not talking about it means is was a condition
of the settlement. Many, many times as you know it's cheaper to settle than
fight. We also don't know the extent of injury. I suspect minor because if
significant they would have been looking for a lot of money which raises the
probability of going to court.

I'll ask an attorney friend if and how to look up.

Chris my understanding from speaking with the defendant, a local contractor,
was it was settled out of court. He would not disclose anything else. Feel
free to petition the court for the files but I suspect its sealed. The
incident however did occur.

Back to that. What was the outcome of the case? That appears to be a
summary of the claim not the verdict nor the discovery or special expert
testimony. We all know it's rather easy to file a lawsuit making lots of
claims. Oh and were they flash of AF burns or would have plain ol' water
done the same as in steam burns? Think of pouring water on a sauna heater.

Didn't we have this discussion on the Forum a
while back about 100% anti-freeze solution vs. anti-freeze/water mixtures?
