Subject: RE: QR vs SSP sprinklers in LH vs OH delivery

Scott:

Once again you get lost in your own "Common" sense, and lose the
"Common-sense" of everyone else. Codes and standards can't address every
situation or occupancy on a case by case situation so some generalizations
have to be made. These are made to cover the vast majority of situations. We
all know of specific instances where the code or standard provides NO or
insufficient guidance. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE. The guidance is clear, the
reasoning has been shown for that decision, and yet you pontificate
"Hybridization" as your "Common Sense" for ignoring what the standard spells
out quit clearly.

Common Sense is a form of majority rule. Your common sense in this case is
my "What the heck is he thinking?"

Off the soap box, let's find a new thread.

QR sprinklers are great. So are Code prescriptions. Common-sense in this
particular hybridized Code application also deserves mention.
