I would have to agree with Scot D, I would look at the potential fuel load characteristics, sources etc. I would also ask them if this truck will ever be running inside the building, it may need carbon dioxide detection as well. Check out special requirements for occupancies in 406 of the IBC. There are special requirements for vehicles to be parked inside a building. Early detection may make the jurisdiction a little at ease as well and maybe a little peace of mind for the owner. With everything else though if it is not maintained and the right type of detection installed, it may be more of a problem than a solution.
